The Institute will work with business, industry, and government organizations to:
- Educate Business and Technical Energy Practitioners in life cycle effects to the planet addressing all cradle-to-grave factors of energy design, use, distribution, policy making, facility construction and end-of-life disposition of both facilities and spent power sources
- Offer Law, Economics, Political Science, and Business Programs in continuing training to assess and understand new developments in energy technology, applications, and policies to understand and help stay abreast of how these new energy developments interact with the environment, climate, and society, including both intended and unintended consequences
- Educate Policy Makers and Government Agencies in the holistic impacts of energy technologies on climate change, defense, geo-political and social justice aspects of energy decisions and leadership
The Institute will stay fresh and unbiased in its knowledge base and attitudes by continually assessing all developments in energy technology, applications, and policies to help decision makers stay abreast of how these developments interact with the environment, climate, and society, including both intended and unintended consequences;
